- To keep informed as to any legislation proposed or pending the State Legislature pertaining to inspection matters, and advise the association of such legislation
- To recommend to the Association membership, any legislation deemed necessary to aid in the accomplishment and purposes and objectives of the Association.
- To establish and maintain effective lines of communication with appropriate State Legislative committees.
- To keep informed as to the provisions of the latest building code changes.
- To submit and review proposed code changes and requirements and to advise the members of their requirements.
- To prepare and offer expert testimony on proposed code changes.
